FRASERBURG­H ended COVE RANGERS’ 100% record in the league thanks to a solitary goal after just 32 seconds. Ryan Cowie struck a long ball and the pacy Scott Barbour raced in to slot the ball past Stuart Mckenzie.

ROTHES went down 4-3 at home to STRATHSPEY. Steven Anderson, Scott Davidson and Ally Sutherland netted for Rothes, with Craig Mcmillan, Craig Mainland and a James Fraser double counting for the winners.

FORRES had no answer to hosts BRORA and went down 4-0. Playermana­ger Steve Mackay scored two – the second his 200th goal for the Dudgeon Park side – with Dale Gillespie also netting a double.

BUCKIE beat visiting FORT WILLIAM 4-0 with all the goals coming in the first half from Lewis Campbell, Declan Milne (2) and Steven Ross.

INVERURIE LOCO WORKS were never troubled at HUNTLY and ran out 4-0 winners. Josh Bolton hit a brace and the others goals came from Christophe­r Herd and Neil Mclean. Huntly were reduced to 10 men at 1-0 when Gary Mcgowan lashed out at Mclean, and they also had assistant manager Richard Cheyne sent off at the interval following an altercatio­n with Mclean.

Just one goal separated DEVERONVAL­E and NAIRN, with Vale breaking the deadlock a minute after the restart when Robert Scott rifled home. In added time, County’s Adam Porritt was shown a straight red card for a lunging challenge on Matty Wallace.

TURRIFF lost 3-2 at home to FORMARTINE. Conor Gethins hit a double, and Jevan Anderson a single. Turriff scored through Michael Ewen (pen) and James Chalmers.

KEITH were 3-0 wnners over CLACHNACUD­DIN with strikes from Cammy Keith (2, 1 pen) and James Brownie.

LOSSIEMOUT­H lost 3-0 at home to WICK ACADEMY, with Danny Mackay, Ross Allan and Craig Gunn netting.
