Calman tears for comic hero Billy

Stand-up comic Susan Calman has revealed she was moved to tears while interviewing Billy Connolly.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star jumped at the chance to interview Billy, describing him as her “comedy hero”.

The interview, for The One Show, will be seen tomorrow and Tuesday on BBC 1 at 7pm.

Susan said: “I did the interview a while back and it’s in two parts because we chattered for quite some time.

“I got a bit emotional when I met him because he is, and always will be, my comedy hero.”
