The Coasters took the lead when Ryan Stuart netted from close range.

Forres dragged themselves back into the game when Stuart Soane ran in to beat Fraser Dear.

Soane then somehow blasted over from two yards just moments before half time.

The outcome of the match turned on a 60-second spell. In the 63rd minute, Brodie Allan’s nearpost flick came back off the inside of the upright with Stuart Knight beaten before Forres cobbled together a clearance.

Moments later, they were on the counter-attack and Andy Macrae drilled a 16-yard shot off the inside of the near post.

Late on, Soane’s blasted cross bounced back off Aaron Hamilton into the net.

Soane then added his second with a sidefooted finish from Liam Taylor’s cross.
