Ricksen: I will die here

Rangers legend Fernando Ricksen has revealed he is unlikely to ever leave a Scottish hospice.

The Spanish footballer, 42, has been battling Motor Neuron Disease since 2013, and has been cared for at St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie since last year.

He now says he will never be well enough to return to Spain, where his wife still lives, to say his goodbyes to family and friends.
