Idris is daddy cool

Idris Elba took his 16-year-old daughter, Isan, to the Golden Globes red carpet last week, and he was full of fatherly advice. “If you feel like you’re going to pass out… don’t,” he told her. “She’s good. She’s so confident! I can’t help but be a dad. I’ll just try to be cool.” Surely it’s the only time Idris isn’t cool?

Olivia: Love’s a labour

She’s now an Oscar favourite, but Golden Globe Best Actress winner Olivia Colman struggles when it comes to love scenes. “In other aspects I feel completely committed,” she explained. “But suddenly when you’ve got to pretend to be in love, I find it so embarrassi­ng.” She makes it look effortless!
