An obese dog hit the headlines last week after being put on a diet by vets – after scoffing Doritos.

Skylar, from the West Midlands, weighed in at 22lb – almost double the normal weight of a Jack Russell.

The portly pooch’s owner blamed the dog’s addiction to cheesy nachos.
