Consumer champion Martin Lewis is funding a large-scale study that aims to help 170,000 “mortgage prisoners” trapped in expensive loans to break free.
The Moneysavingexpert.com founder is making a five-figure donation via his charitable fund for the research by the London School of Economics and Political Science. He aims to help people trapped in deals, and who are paying much higher rates than other home owners.
