Speaking of which, it looked a sure-fire flop but ITV’S costumed guessing game, which ended last night, has been a triumph.

A slightly demented one, but a triumph nonetheless.

From Patsy Palmer to Denise Van Outen the best thing about the unmaskings – and probably a good sign – is how delighted all the celebrities have been once their identities have been revealed.

A new series has already been commissioned – which will hopefully include live shows. Don’t take it off!
