BONNYRIGG ROSE made it three out of three with a 3-0 win over GRETNA 2008, who ended up with 10 men after skipper Bryan Gilfillan was sent off after 67 minutes. Jonny Stewart put Rose ahead and an own goal from Joe Jackson and a missed penalty, saw the game slip away from Gretna. Late on, Jordan Smith hit No. 3.

KELTY HEARTS beat CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS 3-2. Kelty went behind when Alieu Faye fired home on 15 minutes, but, in the 37th minute, skipper Michael Tidser hit a 20-yarder to equalise and Kallum Higgenboth­am put them ahead on 52 minutes when he scored from a penalty. Ross Philp looked to have sealed the match with a 67th-minute shot, but, five minutes later, David Churchill made it 3-2.

STIRLING UNI beat SPARTANS 3-1, who lost an early goal when Jamie Penker hit a cross into the net in the 14th minute. The hosts got back into it when Blair Atkinson was brought down in the box and he levelled from the spot. But, in the 57th minute, Spartans’ Adam Corbett was given a red card for a foul inside the box and Conor Doan scored from the penalty spot. In stoppage time, Spartans were reduced to 10 men when Mikey Allan saw red. From the free-kick, keeper Blair Carsewell stopped the ball, but the rebound was tucked away by Louis Kennedy.

EAST KILBRIDE coasted to a 3-0 win over GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS and head the table on goal difference. Darren Smith was brought down in the box and Craig Malcolm scored from the spot. The Fairies went two down on 51 minutes when Ricky Miller slotted the ball home and, with five minutes left, Malcolm fastened on to a long ball and calmly headed in the third.

BO’NESS UNITED got their third win in a row when they beat EDINBURGH UNI 4-0 with a trialist scoring just before the interval. Zander Miller got a second after the turn. Chris Donnelly and Miller got the others.

EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE kept their unbeaten run with a 4-0 win over DALBEATTIE STAR with a late three-goal burst in four minutes. They led at the interval through Gregg Wylde. Then Star collapsed after making substituti­ons and, on 83 minutes, Kearney scored, followed by a Andy Rodgers stormer and a penalty from Wylde.

BSC GLASGOW came out on top in a thriller against VALE OF LEITHEN which saw them lose two early goals when Lewis Hall and Jonny Grotin scored in the first 20 minutes. But BSC managed a 6-4 win despite giving away two own goals near the end. It was Ross Lyon who saved the day for BSC with a hat-trick, with first goals for Alfie Agyeman, Ryan Tierney and Darren Christie.
