BROXBURN proved too strong for NEWTONGRAN­GE in the Premier League and two late goals sealed a 3-0 win. Gary Brass gave them the lead in 38 minutes and Cammy Ross in 72 minutes and Jordan Hopkinson late on killed off the visitors.

TRANENT made it three wins on the bounce with a last-minute winner at CROSSGATES. Darren Aitken gave the Fifers the lead in 25 minutes, but an own goal gifted the visitors the leveller in 32 minutes. Kanyo gave Tranent the lead in 72 minutes, but Aitken struck again for Primrose soon after. But Tranent weren’t to be denied and Gringie grabbed a late winner despite finishing with 10 men.

Jamie Devlin gave PENICUIK an early lead against INVERHEITH­ING HS and, a minute into the second half, he doubled their lead. The hosts were finally killed off when Joe Viola made it 3-0 in 59 minutes.

Mark Stowe bagged a first-half hat-trick in CAMELON’S 6-0 victory over DUNBAR. The Mariners were always in control and Alan Docherty, Alan Sneddon and Stephen Docherty added another three after the break.

HILL OF BEATH were 2-1 winners over BLACKBURN UNITED. Joe Kinninmont­h gave the Haws the lead in 15 minutes and Lyle Kellichan doubled their advantage in 33 minutes. Blackburn pulled one back in 54 minutes, but the hosts held out to take the points.

There was a flurry of goals at MUSSELBURG­H with the home side coming from behind for a 5-3 win over TYNECASTLE FC. Mathu King gave the hosts the lead in 20 minutes, but the visitors came storming back with three goals from Blake Wales, Jonathan Steele and Kenny Fisher. But a strong second half saw Brian Martin score a double for the hosts and Dean Ballantyne and Nathan Evans scored another two to complete a terrific fightback.

In Conference B, KINNOULL continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 home win over EASTHOUSE LILY. Alan Cunningham gave Kinnoull the lead in 35 minutes and Ben Ragan made it two four minutes from the break before Dale Smart completed a fine win in 64 minutes.
