Three Degrees feel the chill as they entertain all the President’s men

-

“The temperature was a few degrees too cold for the Three Degrees on the deck of HMS Belfast moored near the Tower of London,” read The Sunday Post, below an eye-catching photo of the pop group.

“Fortunately they had fur coats with them – and some of the President’s men to keep them warm. Sailors from the Navy’s HMS President played host to the trio who are top of a star-studded bill at a royal gala evening in the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in aid of the Mountbatten Memorial Trust Fund.” The group, famous for When Will I See You Again, had 15 members over the years but were always a trio.
