Hitman could be secured in discount transfer
John Kennedy will urge Celtic to snap up Moi Elyounoussi in the summer should he become available.
The Hoops have had the Norwegian internationalist – who goes into today’s Scottish Cup tie with Rangers in prolific goalscoring form – on loan from Southampton since 2019.
Now it looks like they will get the chance to land him on a discount deal when the transfer window opens.
His parent club paid Basel £ 16 million for the forward in 2018, but could be ready to let him go for around £5m-6m.
Kennedy believes Celtic will certainly be interested and, having seen him hit four goals in their last three games, will add his seal of approval.
