Happy times lie ahead. When you get that garden party invite make sure you’ve a selection of outfit choices ready to go!

We’ve all been waiting for this – the moment when we can socialise in our gardens. Every weekend is going to be an occasion whether it’s chez vous or all round to someone else’s.

So I’m thinking we should reflect the colours in our gardens in our fashion choices. Think floral prints of all shapes and sizes, broderie anglaise, and shades of green. We’ll need sunglasses, wedges and sunhats, and lashings of suntan lotion.

Now all you have to do is sort out the snacks, bake a Victoria sponge, and mix the cocktails.
