Garden of the week
Linn Botanic Gardens on the Rosneath Peninsula in Argyll are home to a wide range of temperate plants, including many New Zealand species.
The development of the present gardens dates from 1970 and they now house a diverse collection of temperate plants.
There are fine collections of ferns, bamboos and carnivorous plants and at this time of the year the magnolias and rhododendrons that surround the burn, waterfalls and ponds are at their very best.
