There was no shortage of goals in the League Cup sections, with BROXBURN rattling in 10 against CRAIGROYSTON, while SAUCHIE went on a goal spree and knocked eight past ROSYTH without reply. Ross Kavanagh and Ross Crawford both scored hattricks for Sauchie with the other two scored by Sam Davidson and a penalty converted by Connor Kelly.

PENICUIK weren’t at their best against PEEBLES ROVERS in the first half, leading only by a Paul Tansey goal in 42 minutes, but the second half was one-way traffic with Tansey completing his hat-trick in a 5-1 win. Lewis Collins and Gregor Lamb against his former club were their other scorers, with Ross Lamb netting a consolation for Peebles.

GLENROTHES had a bit too much for TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS, with the Fifers strolling to a 5-1 victory thanks to a Stuart Cargill hat-trick and strikes from Fionn Mckay Kay and Lea Schiavone.

LOCHGELLY took the lead against MUSSELBURGH in 22 minutes, but they were eventually outgunned by the Lothain side, who ran out 4-1 winners. Mathu King did most of the damage with a hat-trick, with Jordan Smith also finding the back of the Fifers net.

HILL OF BEATH were shock 3-2 losers to EDINBURGH SOUTH. The visitors led 2-0 at half-time, but the Haws hit back with two goals in a minute from Lewis Elder and Jonny Galloway. The visitors weren’t finished, though, and grabbed a winner with eight minutes to go.

WHITEHILL WELFARE were made to sweat for their 3-2 win over ORMISTON. Bryan Wilson gave Whitehill the lead and it looked good for the home side when Ewan Mckinlay and Liam Ireland made it 3-0, but Ormiston came storming back with goals from Zac Scally and Ballard and even missed a penalty in the final minute.

In the Premier League, CAMELON suffered an embarrassing 5-0 home defeat from INVERKEITHING, who led 4-0 at the interval.
