First impressions
Chic and oh-so stylish, the interiors are exactly what you would expect from Harvey Nicks, but you won’t feel underdressed if you’ve forgotten your black tie – the atmosphere is still relaxed and inviting.
Service
First rate! Our party of six was shown to a quiet booth, and even though it was a busy Friday night, the servers were attentive and friendly.
Menu
Clearly labelled with allergens for those with dietary requirements, the menu has something for everyone. From small plates of homemade focaccia and mushroom croquettes to larger portions of roasted chicken and pan-fried cod, the dishes are focused on fresh ingredients. Classic options, many with a modern twist.
Taste
Delicious! Between us, we managed to order just about everything from the menu, including a hummus starter, served with pitta and zhug, an expertly seared steak with herby butter and chips, vegan tacos with authentic-tasting guacamole and salsa, and perfectly pink lamb. To wash down all the food, we opted for a few cocktails (of course) and a bottle of Harvey Nichols’ own brand prosecco, which is a little too drinkable!
Ambience
Warm and welcoming, we loved the vibe of the whole experience. The meal was a lovely end-of-week treat.
Price
Small plates start from £7, mains from £23 but there is a very reasonable prix fixe menu offering three courses for £30.
