BUCKIE THISTLE eased to the top of the league on goal difference after a close-run 2-1 victory over LOSSIEMOUTH.

After a goalless 45 minutes, Buckie struck early in the second period when Josh Peters slammed a 20-yarder into the top corner. The Coasters struck back with Ryan Stuart sneaking in from the right to dink the ball past Balint Demus. Scott Adams put Buckie back in front from eight yards.

BRORA RANGERS beat CLACHNACUDDIN 4-2 and took the lead in the ninth minute when defender Colin Williamson forced the ball home from close in. Paul Brindle pulled Clach level in the 19th minute, but Andy Macrae fired the Cattachs back in front from the edge of the box. Brindle levelled for a second time on the stroke of half-time. The game turned the way of the home side in the last quarter-of-an-hour with a Jordan Macrae double, one a penalty.
