Only two Premier League matches beat the conditions, with HILL OF BEATH beating THE SWIFTS 3-1 despite playing for 50 minutes with 10 men after Dan Baur was sent off.

Jordan Tosh gave the Haws a lead after five minutes and they then missed a penalty when a Stuart Love effort hit the bar. Tosh netted again on 62 minutes and Calum Adamson made it three on 82 minutes,with the hosts pulling a goal back on 87 minutes through Luke Mahady.

League leaders BROXBURN were shocked when Craig Reid gave CROSSGATES the lead on 24 minutes, but it only served to fire Broxburn up as they hit back to win 4-1. Calum Heath levelled before half-time and Broxburn took control in the second half, with Errol Douglas bagging a double, including one from a penalty, and Gary Brass made sure with a fourth.

DUNBAR are out of the Challenge Cup after losing 1-0 to CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS, with the winner coming midway through the first half from Luke Mccarvel.

TRANENT were 5-3 winners over JEANFIELD SWIFTS in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup. Cammy Ross gave Tranent the lead after 14 minutes, but Swifts hit back with goals from Fraser Smith and Dayle Robertson. Tranent quickly replied with a second from Ross, and a third for the hosts came via Lennon Walker before Ross completed his hattrick. Gary Fergus added a third for Jeanfield, but they were closed out when Robbie Mcintyre added Tranent’s fifth of the afternoon.

GALA FAIRYDEAN are also through after beating LUNCARTY 3-1. A double from Jordan Hunter put Gala in pole position before Sean Fergus pulled one back. Danny Galbraith clinched the tie with a Gala’s third in the final minute.

WHITEHALL WELFARE were

3-0 winners over EASTHOUSE LILY in the King Cup, with all the goals coming in the second half. Dan Moffat opened the scoring and it was followed by strikes from Kevin Keane and Jonny Devers.
