JEANFIELD kept up their promotion challenge with a 3-1 win at PENICUIK. Gary Fergus headed them into the lead after six minutes, with Ryan Quinn levelling on 20 minutes. Chris Scott regained the lead for Swifts and Fraser Smith sealed the points when he converted a penalty on 87 minutes. They were awarded another spot-kick, but it was saved by Cuikie keeper Owen Hayward. KINNOULL took the lead against SAUCHIE on 27 minutes, but the visitors hit back with an equaliser from Brian Morgan on 53 minutes and Jack Thomson made it 2-1 for Sauchie with 14 minutes to go. DUNDONALD came from behind to beat HADDINGTON 3-1 in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup. Lewis Mckenzie and an owngoal counted for the Bluebells, with Guy Mcgarry netting for Haddington. LUNCARTY paid a heavy price for having a player sent off at HILL OF BEATH after 35 minutes. The Haws made them pay with five second-half goals from Stephen Day, Johnny Galloway, Jordan Tosh, Ross Allum and Brandon Luke. In the First Division, NEWTONGRAN­GE were surprising­ly beaten 2-1 at home by ARNISTON RANGERS. Chris Robertson gave Newtongran­ge the lead on eight minutes, but Mike Hamilton equalised on 33 minutes and Arran Laidlaw clinched the points with a second-half penalty. CAMELON won an eight-goal thriller against WHITEHALL WELFARE 5-3. Kieran Dolan bagged a hat-trick for the Mariners, including a penalty, with Kai Wilson and Scott Sinclair netting the other two.
