EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE continued their unbeaten run in an astonishin­g 10-goal first half match against CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS. David Grant hit four goals, including a first half hat-trick. He hit two early on but Matt Cunningham pulled one back only to see Jamie Glasgow bang in a brace. Stephen Froud made it 4-2 but Grant, Paul Sludden and Andy Rogers netted for 7-2. Chris Milligan hit a third for Strollers and Grant hit his fourth to make it 8-3.

Leaders EAST KILBRIDE won 3-1 against GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS. Sean Winters and Martin McBride (2) put them 3-0 ahead. Jack Hay netted a late consolatio­n.

GRETNA 2008 hit three goals in the last eight minutes to claim the points against EDINBURGH UNI, who were 3-1 at this stage with first-half goals from Tim Rawlinson, Callum Irvine and Finn Daniels Yeoman. Robert McCartney had netted for Gretna, then, in a storming late spell, David Smith (og), Dylan Neil in 88 minutes and a Johhny Murray strike in stoppage time saw them win 4-3.

Newcomers HAWICK ROYAL ALBERT got a 3-0 win over PRESTON ATHLETIC. Josh Morris netted on 63 minutes and James McParlin and Hamish Hunter scored late on.

SPARTANS beat BSC GLASGOW 2-1 after Aiden Ferris had put BSC ahead. Paul Thomson and Broque Watson then sealed victory for Spartans.

An 80th-minute goal from Ally Mason gave DALBEATTIE STAR a 2-2 draw away to WHITEHALL WELFARE. Early on, Scott McCulloch’s goal for Welfare was cancelled out by Tommy Muir on the interval. Connor McGregor restored Whitehill’s lead in 73 minutes before Mason levelled.

STIRLING UNI beat SELKIRK 4-2 after Phil Addison gave the Souters a ninth-minute lead. Paul McCafferty equalised on 17 minutes but Michael Collins gave the Scholars a 2-1 lead at the turn. Then McCafferty, Harvey Moyes and Lewis Bonar got three in the second period for Stirling.

CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS beat VALE OF LEITHEN 2-1 despite losing a 17th-minute goal when Sean Stewart fired home. Then Owen Ronal in 27 minutes and Craig Murray seven minutes into the second half sealed the points.
