Wee House... big impact

-

It’s a small but perfectly formed real house.

Clad in blue-painted wood, the house was prefabricated and erected on the site in just five weeks. The corrugated coated steel roof comes in a choice of colours and has a 30-year guarantee, while inside, all the floors apart from the bedroom are painted, as are the highly insulated timber-clad walls.

“I couldn’t wait to get to the furnishing stage,” she says.

“Mark and I have similar tastes. We like cosy but modern and were surprised at how much space there was.

“The design works really well and when we have friends to dinner we extend the fold-up table in the kitchen.”

Jennifer created an additional storage space with a built-in seat with space inside in the entrance porch. She also designed the storage units on either side of the bed in the couple’s eye-catching blue and white bedroom.

She says: “The Wee House is an ideal first home or solution for anyone looking to downsize or be closer to relatives. It makes great holiday accommodation and can be made portable.”

With the Wee House fully meeting building, planning and mortgage regulations Jennifer is confident it will hold its value.

She adds: “Order to completion can be undertaken in as little as eight weeks and includes building foundations and service installation.”
