The Sunday Post (Inverness)

Football’s bosses winning few fans

-

No-one likes to say we told you so, but in this case we’ll make an exception. Two weeks ago The Sunday Post warned Scottish football bosses they were facing a huge fixtures headache over the League Cup semi-finals. That, at least, gave them some time to come up with a workable solution to keep all fans relatively happy. Instead, they used the two weeks to pick the daftest option possible. Both semi-finals at Hampden on the same Sunday; one with a lunchtime kick-off and one in the evening.

Don’t worry about the transport issues and the security risks.

At the end of the day, what could possibly go wrong?

Can you think of any other industry that would treat its customers with such utter contempt?

Nope, neither could we.
