Linda tells Sharon she threw the gun in the canal to protect Mick. He later admits he considered killing Stuart on the night of the shooting, but insists he’s innocent. Linda’s not convinced – she publicly severs all ties with him and goes back to The Vic, where she tells Halfway and the Carters that she isn’t standing by him.
