It is fair to say that British trio alt-j’s third studio album, Relaxer, fails to hit the heights of the two majestic efforts that preceded it.

This is a reimagined and remixed version of said record and is an odd hybrid of maths-rock and hip-hop, styles that just don’t complement each other. At times it’s almost unlistenable. Hard to imagine fans enjoying much about this record – too niche for the mainstream, too weird for the hardcore.
