Fraserburgh moved to the top of the table for one hour as they mauled Inverurie Locos in the 2pm kick-off at Harlaw Park.

The Red and Blacks started positively, but, when Scott Barbour sprung the home offside trap and calmly slotted past Andy Reid, the writing was on the wall. Paul Campbell raced on to a long through ball to give the visitors a two-goal advantage in the 35th minute.

Young effectively killed the match as a contest five minutes into the second period.

Bryan Hay gleefully forced home No. 4 from close range, before Campbell put the icing on the cake, completing the nap hand with 15 minutes to spare.

The game erupted into life just after the half-hour mark when Michael Steven was shown a straight red card for a stamp on a Cove player inside the box. Mitch Megginson confidently slotted the ball home.

Jamie Masson came close to doubling the lead when he hit the post before Megginson’s second arrived 10 minutes into the second half.

Any hope Wick had was ended 10 minutes from time when Grant Steven joined his brother in the changing-rooms for two bookable offences.

Vale went ahead after just 11 minutes when Lewis Dunbar scored from 12 yards after Robert Scott picked him out in the box.

Keith equalised three minutes from the break when Jamie Mcallister scored from six yards.

Robert Scott edged Vale ahead again with four minutes left, but Michael Dunbar’s challenge on Cammy Keith was deemed to be illegal two minutes into stoppage time and the striker scored from the spot.

Kyle Willox saw red for Vale for alleged foul and abusive language after the penalty award.

The lively Andy Macaskill had the first chance of the game with a shot from 22 yards that forced a save out of James Kendall.

Five minutes before the break, a Macaskill shot crashed off the underside of the bar.

However, the Jags man wasn’t to be denied and, right on half-time, he sent a terrific drive into the top corner from just outside the area.

The visitors doubled their lead with another cracking goal in 55 minutes when Steven Ross fired into the roof of the net.

With 10 minutes to play, the ball broke to sub Sam Urquhart and he rolled the ball into an empty net. County’s consolation came two minutes from time when Dylan Mackenzie rammed home a penalty after he was fouled by Lewis Mackinnon.

The visitors took the lead when Graeme Rodger lashed a Garry Wood lay-off into the bottom corner of the net from 18 yards with 27 minutes on the clock.

Lossie’s Brodie Allen got his reward for working hard, charging down Ewen Macdonald’s clearance and lobbing it back over the keeper from 25 yards.

Jevan Anderson rose highest at a corner to head Formartine back in front, but, in first-half stoppage-time, Scott Campbell marked his 21st birthday by volleying Lossie level.

Formartine’s Stuart Smith put the visitors ahead for the third time halfway through the second half with a simple finish from point-blank range, then, with four minutes left, Andrew Greig lashed home a fourth from 20 yards.

Turriff took an early lead when midfielder Owen Cairns squared for Angus Grant to angle a shot past Cameron Mackay.

The Speysiders were level four minutes later, Alistair Sutherland unleashing a swerving shot right into the top corner

The homesters took only another seven minutes to regain the lead, Grant’s shot hitting the hand of Jack Maley. Grant then converted the spot-kick.

Rothes pressed for a leveller and Jamie Wilson’s low right-footer came back off the base of the post. The chance led to a corner on the right and Steven Anderson netted from close range

A second penalty in the game for handball was awarded in 51 minutes, James Chalmers the unlucky player, but Fraser Hobday made a spectacular save to his left to foil Scott Davidson.

Rothes took the lead in 70 minutes, Sutherland’s shot at the edge of the box taking a wicked deflection and going over the head of Hobday

The all-action game produced a final goal in 80 minutes, ex-rothes striker Michael Ewen punishing indecision between Jamie Duff and his keeper to score.

CLACHNACUDDIN 0 Brora rangers 5

Dale Gillespie got the ball rolling for the Cattachs when he got on the end of Paul Brindle’s cross to fire past former Brora keeper Steven Martin.

Brora quickly added a second when Mark Nicholson headed home Gavin Morrison’s free-kick.

Gillespie then blasted home a stunning second for 3-0. Colin Williamson added No. 4 just a minute into the second half and got his second, turning home yet another set-piece delivery, shortly after the hour.

Late on, Mark Nicholson was sent off.

In a rare no-score draw in the SHFL, both teams had their chances.

James Fraser and Scott Lisle were both denied by the imposing figure of Stuart Knight when they were given a clear sight of the goal.

Lisle went closer still with a spectacular effort from the touchline that dipped over Stuart Knight, but came back off the woodwork.

At the other end, Liam Taylor twice fired wide when well placed, while an Andy Macrae header also slipped just wide.
