Police inquiries are ongoing in respect of the death of Scott Calder. His death was reported to the Procurator Fiscal as is normal for sudden unexplained deaths, an investigation is ongoing by the Crown to establish the full circumstances which Police Scotland are supporting. The death remains unexplained.

Any sudden unexplained death is tragic and our thoughts are with Scott’s family, we will continue to provide support to the Calder family while the investigation is ongoing. Once this is complete, arrangements will be made to fully update the family with the outcome and hopefully provide the answers they are seeking.
