Mum is reunited with husband in the spirit world

-

Dear June

My beautiful mum passed away in January. She hadn’t kept in good health for years.

I was with her when she died and had the strangest feeling, as I sat with her, that my dad was waiting for her? My two brothers are taking her death very hard and this makes me feel very guilty. I was glad when she passed away to see her finally free from the pain she endured. I miss her everyday and would like to know if she is with my dad and also her mum and dad?

When we are left with no other option than to stand by and watch a loved one deteriorate and struggle to cope on a daily basis with ill health, we feel heartbroken at not being able to offer more help to alleviate their pain.

Do not feel guilty for wishing your lovely mum out of the pain and discomfort she endured.

You thought about your mum and what would be the best for her.

This was a selfless act from someone who loved her deeply enough to let her go. This allowed your mum to be free from further suffering. I feel you gave her permission to go with your dad, who was waiting patiently for her?

As I sense her around me, she makes me aware you were there for her constantly during her deterioration? I feel she had, for many years, suffered from arthritic pain. I do not get the impression that your brothers lived close to your mum or yourself.

I do not feel either of you saw them often? I also sense they were not present at your mum’s passing? Your mum and dad made a great team and were very alike in nature. I also feel your dad I cannot stop thinking about her as to me she was a huge part of our family. She was with me constantly and even slept on my bed. Is she close? Caroline, via email

The loss of a family pet can cause the same pain of grief as the loss of a much-loved family member.

Heather, Dundee

passed suddenly and I can feel a pressure In the chest area. I do feel that this was quite some time ago?

I am being shown a grey granite headstone that marks their resting place. They are together on the spirit side and have been reunited with family they loved dearly.

One day, you will also be reunited with them. Until then, they will watch over you.

VERDICT

Mum suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and was in constant pain. Her immune system eventually gave up on her.

I was by her side until the end and told her my dad was waiting for her. My brothers do not live close and were not there when she died.

Dad died 14 years earlier of a heart attack.

They were a great couple. Mum was heartbroken and never really got over his death. They are laid to rest together now under a grey granite headstone. Knowing they are all together has brought me great comfort. Thank you Our pets give us love and lifelong loyalty and are very much classed as members of the family.

Ailsa will still be that loyal pet who will continue to walk by your side giving her family the unseen protection she always did.

She will be waiting, cared for by other members of your family, until the day comes when you are all reunited.
