You must remember this era of real music

In a TV interview with the wonderful singer Alfie Boe on the release of his latest album As Time Goes By, he revealed that his kids go around singing the oldtime favourites from his album.

This had me wondering, will people be singing today’s songs in the years to come?

At age 83, I can still sing along to all the Second World War favourites.

Give us the lyrics to Frank Sinatra, Perry Como or Bing Crosby and my age group can still enjoy real music and recognise the words.
