It’s carnage

-

Why are so many drivers ignoring the zebra crossings in supermarket car parks? This is becoming routine behaviour and is very dangerous.

Three times recently in three different supermarket car parks I’ve had motorists drive over the crossing very close to me when I have been on the crossing. I’ve seen it happen to others on crossings too.

Are motorists believing it is “an option” to stop for pedestrians, since these are in private car parks, or are they just in such a hurry that they will risk knocking a pedestrian down to rush by?

Whatever the reason, there is going to be a serious accident if motorists persist with this reckless driving. heavy smacks to my lower portions, Johnny Rea was singing Walking In The Rain on the radio. So there I was, crying, coughing, my rear end glowing like lava pool, when the then Prime Minster of the time Harold Mcmillan’s voice spoke to me from the radio telling me “I’d never had it so good!”
