BSC GLASGOW knocked KELTY HEARTS off their leaders perch in the Lowland League with a 3-0 win in a tousy affair which left Hearts with nine men at the end. They lost Ciaren Chalmers after 26 minutes for a bad foul, then Elliot Ford put through his own goal a minute after the interval. BSC controlled much of the second half and hit two goals in the space of four minutes from Martin Grehan and Robbie Mcnab. Stephen Husband was given a red card after 76 minutes for a foul.

EAST KILBRIDE hit the top of the table with a polished 4-1 win over STIRLING UNI and go two points clear of Kelty with a game in hand. Craig Malcolm and Jamie Longworth had Kilby 2-0 up at the break, then Graeme Holmes got No. 3. Blair Lyon pulled one back for Stirling, but Sean Winter rounded the keeper for No. 4.

DALBEATTIE STAR beat EDINBURGH UNI 1-0 in the capital, but left it until stoppage time to find the winner from Lewis Sloan.

CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS beat managerles­s GRETNA 2008 6-0. Stephen Fround hit a hat-trick and there were singles from Ross Guthrie, Alive Faye and Cammy Muirhead.

GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS hit back after Sean Brown hit a firstminut­e goal for CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS. Two second-half strikes from Ruari Paton gave Gala the points.

SPARTANS crashed in six without reply as they thrashed VALE OF LEITHEN. Jason Stevens, Alan Brown, Adam Corbett, Steven Macdonald (2) and Mikey Herd netted.

EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE got the points with a 3-1 win at EDUSPORT ACADEMY. After an even first half which turned around at 0-0, Paul Mccafferty put Shire ahead early in the second period, but Matthew Flynn equalised in the 53rd minute only to see Derek Ure restore Shire’s lead four minutes later. Ross Allum’s 72nd-minute strike sealed the points.
