Unruly kids restrained
Pupils with challenging behaviour are being routinely restrained or locked up in classrooms, according to a new report.
Scotland’s children’s commissioner Bruce Adamson uncovered incidents where pupils were held down or shut in rooms as a result of their behaviour.
Union EIS Scotland said pupils sometimes had to be removed safely from class.
