Rodgers wants two strikers signed in January window Gerrard desperate to see Pedro’s duds off the wage bill
Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard intend to be busy men during the January transfer window.
Faced with being without Leigh Griffiths for a prolonged period as he battles personal issues, the Celtic boss is
looking to sign TWO strikers when the market opens for business in just over a fortnight.
His Rangers counterpart is also looking to get players in, and hopes to be aided by getting high-earning, non-contributing players – such as Pedro Caixinha signings, Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera – off the wage bill.
Both men know, however, their task is easier said than done and the winter break may not be the time to get the feet up.
