Loan Ranger rides out of Ibrox for good
Rangers last night confirmed that midfielder Ovie Ejaria’s loan period has been cut short.
The 21-year-old, who made 28 appearances in light blue, is now back with Liverpool.
A club statement said that Ejaria had struggled to settle in Scotland and wished to continue his career back in England with his parent club. The player was one of Steven Gerrard’s first signings in June, and played a total of 28 matches, including 11 in Europe.
He scored twice in light blue, most notably against FC Ufa in Russia, a goal which helped Rangers into the group stages of the Europa League.
