Eastenders

-

THERE is plenty pre-christmas angst around Albert Square.

Following Dylan’s “confession” the Carters are relieved to hear about Mick’s hearing.

But Linda worries when she can’t get an update from the prison and busies herself getting the pub ready.

As they all discuss Dylan’s confession, they’re convinced Stuart is behind it.

Later, when Ritchie reveals there is new evidence that could delay Mick’s hearing, Linda is determined to remain positive.

However, when she spots Stuart across the Square she’s spooked and when she later investigates a strange noise in the barrel store, she’s dumbstruck at what she finds.

With the truth finally out, Mick is back on The Square but continues to be haunted by everything Stuart put him through.

The Carters are shocked to see Mick but Linda senses something isn’t right and, as Mick settles back in, he notices some changes around The Vic. Later, Kim and Denise welcome Mick back but the conversation quickly turns to Stuart when Mick spots him at Dot’s.

Mick’s worst nightmare is confirmed when Kim lets slip that Stuart moved in when he was away leading to Mick confronting Linda, who tries to convince him she had no option.

Ritchie arrives revealing forensics found new evidence, exonerating Mick.

Later, Mick visits Stuart and, with Dot watching on, they exchange pleasantries but the underlying tension is evident.

As Mick leaves, it’s clear he’s out for revenge.
