Olympiacos boss tells Celtic to forget buying full-back this month

Brendan Rodgers appears to have suffered a major blow to his January transfer window plans.

The Celtic boss was known to be keen on Norwegian international full-back, Omar Elabdellaoui (left), with a £4-million bid in the offing.

But last night his club manager, Pedro Martins of Olympiacos, said: “We are focused on our goals of winning the title again and we won’t risk that by selling any players. No-one will be sold.”
