When John Gilmour’s brother passed away, dividing up his estate was problematic as he never had a Will or Power of Attorney in place. Jack and wife Sheila were keen to prevent this from happening to their family when they are no longer here, so they took the first steps in securing their daughters’ future. The couple, from Dundee, contacted ILAWS and immediately were reassured that their Wills and Power of Attorneys will be drawn up by the estate planning experts.

In total it cost me around £2,000 to get through it.

I feel very happy about it; it is certainly a weight off our minds.” The couple, who also have six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, also organised a Power of Attorney each which means their financial and medical decisions will be taken by a trusted member of the family when they are no longer able to do so themselves.
