After a goalless first half, Peterhead took the lead when when Ryan Dow headed home.

Ben Reilly was just inches away from an equaliser with a shot which flashed wide. The Blue Toon wrapped up the points in 71 minutes when Russell Mclean turned home Scott Brown’s pass.

QUEEN’S PARK 0 EDINBURGH CITY 4 Galbraith (4), Smith (7), Henderson (16, 60)

City went in front early on, with Danny Galbraith drilling in a fine goal. Soon after, it was 2-0 as an error by home defender Scott Gibson was pounced on by Allan Smith and he slid the ball home.

The visitors increased their advantage even further on 16 minutes when Blair Henderson rose to head home a Graham Taylor cross.

The visitors scored their fourth on the hour when Henderson tapped in his second from a rebound after being denied by home goalkeeper Jordan Hart

In the later stages, Queen’s substitute Kieran Moore failed to connect from six yards out, and Lewis Hawke saw his effort from close range stopped by Calum Antell.

STIRLING ALB 2 ANNAN 1 Stirling – Macdonald (20, 77); Annan – Muir (33)

Peter Macdonald fired the Binos in front from close range in 20 minutes after good work on the left by Danny Jardine.

The visitors hit back when Tommy Muir pounced on a loose ball to net.

Stirling went ahead in 77 minutes as sub Dylan Mackin headed the ball down and Macdonald swept home.

BERWICK 0 CLYDE 3

Clyde’s opener came when a freekick from John Rankin was spilled by Kyle Allison and Chris Mcstay followed up to net the loose ball. On 23 minutes, Berwick made a claim for a penalty when Lewis Barr went down in the box, but the referee waved their pleas aside. After 26 minutes, David Goodwillie headed over, but the Bully Wee soon doubled their lead when a ball was slipped through and Goodwillie slid it past Allison. Soon after, Goodwillie had a chance to make it three, but Allison pushed his shot on to a post. Early in the second half, Mcstay had a shot saved by Allison and Jordan Orru had to clear another attempt off the line, then Goodwillie pulled a shot wide on the break. Mcstay also had a long-range effort parried by Allison.

Clyde didn’t add to their tally until the 91st minute when Rankin fired in a free-kick from 22 yards.

ELGIN 1 COWDENBEAT­H 4 Elgin – Mchardy (67); Cowdenbeat­h – Cox (17), Renton (38), Allan (46, 69)

David Cox opened for Cowdenbeat­h as he fired a shot into the roof of the net, then Kris Renton doubled the lead just before the break as he drilled a strike from 35 yards. Cowdenbeat­h added No. 3 early in the second half as Jordan Allan drilled home.

Elgin were given a lifeline as Darryl Mchardy headed home from a JP Mcgovern corner, but Allan netted his second of the game just two minutes later to secure three points for the visitors.
