SEPTEMBER 23-OCTOBER 22

-

IIt’s always a good idea for Librans to track what your ruler Venus is up to. At the end of January, and twice again in December, she aligns with mighty Pluto, and then links with sober Saturn as February begins, adding a little playfulness and diplomacy to any power dynamics and restrictions that are going on around you. Her meeting with Jupiter on 11th February is a great time to indulge yourself with whatever it is you fancy. Enjoy – but it’s probably best not to go completely overboard. Mid-march is a time for dreaming beautiful dreams but again don’t get carried away with fantasy. Late April is wake up time when you’ll probably be itching to do some things differently and mid July is an excellent time for asserting yourself.

Venus goes retrograde from December 19 to January 29 2022 in your home sector, nudging you to take some quiet time around Christmas and New Year to reflect deeply on your own and your family’s values. And you could find out whether you lose sight of what you really prize simply to please others.

Your relationship with children in the family could deepen this year bringing increased responsibilities yet increased pleasure and enjoyment as well as many opportunities for getting to know the young ones better. You could take your creativity more seriously in 2021 and while some of the ways you might choose to express yourself may be a little unconventional, that’s no reason to hide them away.

Solar eclipses can mark significant turning points and this year’s pair fall in your communication and learning sectors on June 10 and December 4. Solar eclipses are often times that one situation comes to an end and a new horizon opens up. Studying could be important this year and it’s a time for broadening your horizons and gaining new knowledge that could lead to brand new perspective on life. This could be a year of notable conversations and for discovering what your true opinions and beliefs are about certain matters. Your fear of disharmony can often have you sitting on the fence but once you know what you do want it’s easy for you to get others on your side.

Mid March is a time for dreaming beautiful dreams

As a Scorpio keeping a close and watchful eye on your planetary ruler, Pluto, is always a good move. He has been a long-stay visitor in your communications and siblings’ area and will be there until 2024. Important dates in 2021 are April 27, when Pluto turns retrograde, and October 6, when it moves forward again. These are highly charged times when you could be feeling pressure to speak out about matters you feel strongly about. This theme is further played out all year when you could be finding your own ways of dealing with true and false information, especially between May 29 and June 22 and around May

26 and December 4. From midDecember to late-january 2022, when Venus goes retrograde in the same area, you could be grappling with the implications of your own personal values and experiences in communicating with relatives and neighbours.

Saturn and Jupiter are now in your home, family and ancestry zone. Saturn demands hard work, commitment and a reality check in those areas while Jupiter helps you on your way with opportunities, optimism and lucky breaks and boosts your willingness to take a bit of a risk. Jupiter slips into your area of self-expression between May 13 and July 28, making this an excellent time to start off any creative projects and for losing yourself in self-indulgence and daydreams.

The lunar eclipse on November 19 in your relationship area could help you tease out any underlying or resolved issues that have been swept under the carpet between you and those closest to you. You tend to feel better when you know what’s really going on beneath the surface and this is a chance to clear away uncertainties.

The eclipses of May 26 and December 4 should bring matters of self-worth as well as finance to the surface and offer you a great opportunity to ditch a whole load of negativity about yourself. September 27 to October 18 is ideal for pulling back from the world for a bit and listening to what your intuition is telling you about how best to proceed.

This could help prepare you for New Moon in Scorpio on November 4, which signals your annual call to review whether you’re still on track in standing up for who you are and what you’re about, and to put together your plans for the coming year.
