If I’m on my own here, I better get something sorted

Mr Alexander Mcgilp Mceachran had some experience in the importance of legal documents – after the passing of an aunt about five years ago, he was aware that legal proceedings can sometimes take a while to settle.

However, he didn’t have a Will or Power of Attorney in place himself.

He came across ILAWS in the papers and thought the pricing was very reasonable, so he and his cousin Islay decided to give them a call.

George from ILAWS proved a great help from that point onwards. Alexander said: “It just went like clockwork. The receptionist, through to George – it was just excellent.

“The attention I got from George was outstanding. Even the smallest thing that I or my cousin Islay found a bit tricky, he said to phone up any time – and we did, and he was excellent. He never got fed up of us.”

Alexander’s partner of 40 years, Maureen, sadly passed away at this start of the year.

Then the thought of the virus, which impacted so many individuals and their families, was another push to encourage Alexander to organise his Will and POA. He said: “I thought, if I’m on my own here, I better get something sorted.”

Having these legal documents in place now has helped give him peace of mind.

And although it may appear complicated or tricky, ILAWS is there to help you through each stage and make the process as pleasant as possible. Alexander explains: “It was very straightforward. George made it so simple. It was so easy it was unbelievable, they were so nice.”

Would he recommend ILAWS? Alexander replies: “Yes, there’s no question about that! You’ve got to be on your toes with the scams that are going about just now, but George is no scam – George is a thorough gentleman.”
