Battery’s a flier power
A woman has set off on a circumnavigation of mainland Britain in an effort to raise awareness about climate change.
Sacha Dench is making the 3,000-mile journey to mark the Cop26 UN climate change conference in Glasgow later this year.
She took off from North Ayrshire yesterday morning in an adapted electric paramotor – a type of powered parachute.
Dench is making the trip to demonstrate the potential that carbon-free transport has.
