Thousands in protests

Thousands of protesters marched through London in another round of demonstrations against Covid restrictions.

Anti-lockdown activists set off flares and shouted “shame on you” in streets around Downing Street yesterday. Other protesters threw tennis balls at Parliament on a day of multiple protests as climate change demonstrators also took to the streets.

On Friday police had arrested 12 people in raids and confiscated items linked to the protests.
