Scotland pair’s futures settled

-

The future of two of Scotland’s Euros performers has become clearer, writes DANNY STEWART.

Jack Hendry has completed a permanent move to Oostende, after a season on loan from Celtic.

The Belgian club took up the option on an agreed transfer fee for the 26-year-old.

Hendry joined the Hoops three years ago from Dundee, but made just 18 starts before being sent out on loan, firstly to Melbourne City, then to Oostende.

Billy Gilmour, meanwhile, will head out of Chelsea on a season’s loan later this week, with Norwich City favourites to pip Wolves, West Ham and Southampton to his signature.

The 20-year-old was Man of the Match against England at Wembley.

But with Jorginho, Ngolo Kante and Mason Mount at Stamford Bridge, he is being sent out to gain more first-team experience.

Blues boss Thomas Tuchel’s good relationship with the Canaries manager, Daniel Farke, from the pair’s time coaching together at Borussia Dortmund, makes the Norfolk club the ideal option.
