Two super subs gave CELTIC B two late goals to clinch a 2-0 win over BO’NESS UNITED, who were reduced to 10 men when Nick Locke was given a straight red on 68 minutes for a foul on Moffat. Bo’ness fought hard in the

first half and Locke almost put them ahead on 20 minutes, but shot past, then a tremendous one-handed save by Celts keeper Tobi Oluwayemi denied Conor Mcmullan’s 20-yarder. Celtic’s best chance came on 55 minutes when Boson Laval curled his shot wide. On 87 minutes, Celtic went 2-0 up when Bruno Davidson got on the end of a cross and hammered the ball home.

BERWICK RANGERS beat DALBEATTIE STAR 1-0 to end Star’s unbeaten run of five games. The vital break for the Wee Gers came on 34 minutes when a Star clearance was deflected into

the path of Lewis Allan. His initial tame effort was saved, but the ball rebounded into his path and he rounded the keeper and slotted in.

CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS thrashed pointless VALE OF LEITHEN 7-1, but they had to fight back after Jack Blaikie put Vale ahead on 14 minutes. Joao Balde equalised seven minutes later from the penalty spot and Andy Johnstone and Alleau Faye saw them 3-1 up at half-time. In 68 minutes Strollers went 4-1 up through Balde, with Faye, Johnny Moffat and a

trialist completing the rout.

SPARTANS got a 2-0 win over BROOMHILL. Jamie Dishington almost put them ahead early on, but his shot went past. Spartans got the break on the half-hour when Blair Henderson had only to tap home a Scott Maxwell pass. They made certain of the points when Dishington took advantage of a mix-up in the Broomhill defence and slotted the ball home.

CALEDONIAN BRAVES went ahead against BONNYRIGG ROSE in four minutes, but the visitors’ George Hunter levelled 10 minutes later after Keiran Hall’s flick came off the woodwork and Hunter prodded the ball home. Ross Gray hit the woodwork for Rose on 70 minutes and then, soon after, Dean Hoskins headed the winner from a Lee Currie corner.

GRETNA 2008 drew 2-2 with EAST STIRLINGSHIRE. Shire went ahead early on through Robbie Young, but, soon after, Josh Cooper levelled. Gretna were down to 10 men on the hour when Euan Griffiths was red-carded for a second yellow, but, four minutes later, a trialist put them ahead, only to concede a 73rd-minute penalty, converted by Robbie Young.

EDINBURGH UNI had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS after taking the lead in 21 minutes, with a Ben Spelman header. The Fairies bounced back and their pressure told on the half-hour mark when Alieu Touray fired home.

STIRLING UNI thrashed CUMBERNAULD COLTS 6-1. They were 4-0 ahead at the interval through Louis Kennedy, who hit the opener in five minutes, and Jamie Penker, Lucas De Zoeten and James Stokes brought the tally to four. Ewan Macpherson pulled one back for Colts on 75 minutes, but Euan Mcgill came on with 11 minutes left and smashed in two more for Uni.
