HILL OF BEATH picked up their first league point with a 2-2 draw at DUNBAR UNITED. Calum Adamson opened for the Haws in 17 minutes, but the lead was short-lived as Fraser Mclaren levelled seven minutes later. The home side then took the lead through Michael Mcfarlane in 27 minutes, but a Lee Reid penalty in 58 minutes earned the Haws a point.

PENICUIK maintained their 100% record with a comfortabl­e 3-1 win over LINLITHGOW. Paul Tansey gave them an early lead, then fired in another in 34 minutes. Nicky Reid made sure there was no way back for Rose with a third in 39 minutes, although Tommy Coyne pulled one back in 68 minutes.

TRANENT are also on maximum points after a 2-0 win over SAUCHIE. Jamie Docherty opened for them and Craig Stevenson doubled their lead from a penalty.

MUSSELBURG­H came from two goals down to JEANFIELD SWIFTS to win 3-2 – and they also missed a penalty. The Perth side were two up after 11 minutes, but Nathan Evans pulled one back in 25 minutes and, although Darren Downie had a penalty saved, Evans levelled in 74 minutes and Liam Reid grabbed a winner with two minutes to go.

BROXBURN beat TYNECASTLE 2-1. Ross Allum gave Broxburn the lead in 24 minutes and Cameron Ross netted a second in 31 minutes. Tynecastle pulled one back in 42 minutes, but they couldn’t force an equaliser.

NEWTONGRAN­GE and BLACKBURN shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Dave Howe gave Blackburn the

lead in 44 minutes, but Nitten fought back and levelled through Liall Smith with 15 minutes to go.

CAMELON went down 4-2 to DUNDONALD and the Mariners also had a player sent off. Lewis Mckenzie bagged a hattrick for the Bluebells after Lee Sibanda scored the opener.

Wayne Mcintosh opened the scoring for WHITEHILL WELFARE against LTHV, but the visitors levelled, only for Sean Ward to regain the lead for the hosts, then Bob Mckenzie completed a 3-1 win for Whitehill.
