I’ve been glued to the Olympics and thoroughly enjoyed the sport. There have been a few irritations like the BBC talking for hours about a GB bronze while the gold medallist is forgotten but, generally, speaking, I’ve loved it.
But why on earth, in this day and age, do women athletes, runners, gymnasts, beach volleyballers need to wear tiny wee pants? There’s absolutely no need for it and, if men, can wear shorts, why can’t women? I read some of the countries are complaining about it. Not before time.
