Surgery for giant eagle

A sea eagle found in Perthshire is on the mend after undergoing surgery on its deformed beak.

The three-year-old male raptor is thought to have broken an internal bone in its beak in the past, causing it to grow in a dramatic hooked shape. It was anaesthetised to trim its beak into a natural shape.
