Charley has eyes on a fifth title success as she hits the front

-

England’s Charley Hull is joint leader of the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open going into the final round.

Hull posted a threeunder-par 69, matching her scores from the opening two rounds, to move to nine-under for the tournament.

She would have finished on 10-under and been sole leader had it not been for a disappointing bogey on the par-three 16th – her only slip of the round, which contained four birdies.

The 25-year-old, is still in contention for a fifth tournament win, as she shares the lead with American Ryann

O’toole and Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn.

Jutanugarn will have regrets as she was two shots clear heading to the 17th tee, but backto-back bogeys saw her relinquish her lead, completing a mixed bag of a round that saw her card five birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey.

South African Ashleigh Buhai and Atthaya Thitikul are a shot further back on eight-under.

Top Scot is Kelsey Macdonald, who is in a tie for seventh on five-under-par, with it all to play for going into today’s final round at Dumbarnie.
