Lulu at risk on stage

A gig featuring Scots singer Lulu, Culture Club and Bananarama was postponed at the last minute yesterday after the stage was deemed unsafe.

The concert was due to take place at Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath in north London but it was called off just hours before it was due to start.

Organisers said: “The inclement weather over the past weeks has caused significant issues which our health and safety advisers deemed unsafe for the artists, crew and audience.”
