The poets and poetry of Scotland have enthralled and intrigued readers for centuries. Now an anthology, The Golden Treasury Of Scottish Verse, features more than 300 poems ranging from the early medieval period to the 21st Century, chosen by three of the country’s leading poets: Kathleen Jamie, who was announced as Scotland’s new Makar by Nicola Sturgeon on Wednesday, Peter Mackay and Don Paterson.
