Brothers’ war letters sale
Books of letters written by two Scots brothers killed just days apart during the First World War, collected by their heartbroken mother, are expected to fetch hundreds of pounds when sold at auction.
The letters were written by brothers Eric and Ronald Travis Townsend from Troon, Ayrshire.
